ADULT DOSE:

Antianxiety agent-Oral, 6 to 30 mg per day in divided doses . Note: Dosages of up to 60 mg may be used in severe cases . Debilitated patients-Initial daily dosage should not exceed 3 mg in divided doses, the dosage being carefully adjusted as needed and tolerated .

 

MAXIMUM ADULT DOSE:

 

PEDIATRIC DOSE:

Antianxiety agent-Children younger than 18 years of age: Safety and efficacy have not been established . 

 

MAXIMUM PEDIATRIC DOSE:

 

ELDERLY DOSE:

Antianxiety agent-Oral, initially up to 3 mg per day, the dosage being carefully adjusted as needed and tolerated .
