ADULT DOSE:

Nausea and vomiting, cancer chemotherapy-induced, prophylaxis-
Oral, 2 mg (base) given up to one hour before chemotherapy. Alternatively, 1 mg (base) administered up to one hour prior to chemotherapy, then 1 mg administered twelve hours after the initial dose.
Nausea and vomiting, cancer radiotherapy-induced (prophylaxis)-
Oral, 2 mg (base) once daily. Two 1 mg tablets are taken within 1 hour of radiation .
Note: Dosage adjustment is not required in the elderly, or in patients with hepatic or renal function impairment. |
