ADULT DOSE:

Antidepressant-Oral, 25 to 50 mg three or four times a day, the dosage being adjusted as needed and tolerated . [Urinary incontinence] -Oral, 10 to 50 mg a day , the dosage being adjusted as needed and tolerated, to a maximum of 150 mg a day .

 

MAXIMUM ADULT DOSE:

Outpatients: Up to 200 mg a day . Hospitalized patients: Up to 300 mg a day . Geriatric patients: Up to 100 mg a day .

 

PEDIATRIC DOSE:

Antidepressant-Children up to 6 years of age: Use is not recommended . Children 6 to 12 years of age: Oral, 10 to 30 mg a day in two divided doses . Adolescents: Oral, 25 to 50 mg a day in divided doses, the dosage being adjusted as needed and tolerated, up to 100 mg a day . Antienuretic-Oral, 25 mg once a day, one hour before bedtime. If a satisfactory response is not obtained within one week, the dosage may be increased to 50 mg nightly in children under 12 years of age and to 75 mg nightly in children 12 or over. 

 

MAXIMUM PEDIATRIC DOSE:

 

ELDERLY DOSE:

Antidepressant-Oral, initially 25 mg at bedtime, the dosage being adjusted as needed and tolerated, up to 100 mg a day in divided doses .
