ADULT DOSE:

[Gastroesophageal reflux] -
Prophylaxis-
Oral, 10 mg two times a day, before breakfast and at bedtime or 20 mg a day at bedtime .
Note:
Dose used in prophylaxis may be increased to a maximum of 20 mg two times a day with severe disease .
Treatment-
Oral, 5 to 10 mg three to four times a day, fifteen minutes before meals and at bedtime .
Note:
Some patients may require a dose of 20 mg four times a day, taken fifteen minutes before meals and at bedtime .
[Gastroparesis or pseudo-obstruction] -
Treatment-
Oral, 10 mg three to four times a day, fifteen minutes before meals and at bedtime .
Note:
Dose may be increased to a maximum of 20 mg three times a day, fifteen minutes before meals . |
